Pole Bean Garden Art

Because we are an employee-owned company, people who work here take the time to get to know the products. And sometimes we come up with a new way to use one of our "old reliables." A few years ago, I used the Bean Towers to create an archway at the entrance to my vegetable garden.

Because I grow pole beans, I am able to get much more food in the same amount of space. With half of a Tomato Cage, I connected two towers on one side to two on the other together, forming an arched entrance to my garden. I love it. Not only is this a beautiful way in to my veggie garden, but I always get plenty of beans. I have plenty of beans to give to some of my neighbors and friends. I also preserve some by making dilly beans.

...Okay, that is AWESOME! We have a panel of cattle fencing that we bent into an arch but it isn't as tall as what you have and I love yours so much more! :o)

...And sadly, the deer ate most of our beans when they were coming up, I even had fencing around them but somehow the deer managed to get their heads down into the fencing to get to the beans. Ugh! Is it too late to plant pole beans to still get a harvest in this year in Zone 5?

...Great photos & idea!

...Blessings :o)
